Last weekend was finally the time to go on our annual camping trip! My little sister Stephanie flew in from Seattle to join us, so in lieu of the old fashioned way of camping, I decided to treat ourselves with an adequate place to stay. Thousand Springs Resort is located between Hagerman and Buhl, Idaho. The view was just heavenly and you could even hear the rush of the waterfalls all the way across the Snake River! The first night we stayed, there was an amazing lightning storm rolling through! The second day, we went on a little expedition for some images of the amazing falls! Some of these were just ginormous! Steven is awesome to have along on camping trips – he always seems to bring the stuff I seem to forget. Oops! And the swimming pool? Was absolutely awesome! Jeffrey loved every aspect of swimming and enjoyed getting “tossed” around by me and his dad.
We were going to go to the mineral baths, but they were just plain too expensive and it only had an hour limit. So we exnayed that idea, real quick. By Sunday evening, we were about ready to go home. All the swimming and roaming around that we did, we were just plain pooped! Monday morning hit – we made breakfast, cleaned up camp, packed up and went home. What a great weekend! Maybe (hopefully) we can go one more time this year before it gets cold. 🙂
