**BEWARE – SOME PHOTOS MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE. IF YOU’RE THE FAINT OF HEART, I’D RECOMMEND NOT PROCEEDING**
After being in the hospital for 2 days for gestational hypertension (a step away from pre eclampsia), one of the Doctors at the practice announced that we would be having our baby girl. After some consideration, it was decided to allow me to attempt natural childbirth. After 3 unsuccessful hours, I was given an epidural and rushed in to get ready for a C-section. I was none too thrilled about either but it is what it is. So before I was all loopy from the drugs, I instructed my husband to manhandle my camera. I have to say that I was pretty impressed with a good handful of shots that he got. I actually feel the emotion by looking at them – which is something that is really hard for me to do with my own photography.
Katelyn was born with white pasty stuff all over her. She hardly had any blood on her what so ever. However, the black and white does make the photos look a little more tasteful.
My hubs even managed to get the nurse to get a couple of him cutting her cord and together.
But this is it in a nutshell. The pictures pretty much sum it up 😉
